@IsleofMTV and #HouseofMarley to bring the party back to Malta on 25th June 2014 #LIVEMARLEY
London, Milan – 12 February 2014: MTV’s parent company Viacom International Media Network’s (VIMN) has announced today that House of Marley, a world-class brand of earth friendly, personal audio and lifestyle products launched by the family of Bob Marley, will be the official pan-European sponsor of MTV’s largest outdoor music extravaganza, Isle of MTV. Produced in partnership with Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), Isle of MTV 2014 will return to Malta’s historic Il-Fosos Square, Floriana on Wednesday 25th June.

Effective immediately, the European sponsorship, negotiated by BE VIACOM, VIMN’s in-house brand solutions sales division, will incorporate an integrated marketing campaign to create buzz and awareness for the MARLEY brand, implementing an on-air and digital presence across all MTV platforms including a dedicated Isle of MTV microsite (, editorial and social media competition activation, plus local branding and marketing on the ground in Malta.

House of Marley and MTV will also be developing a bespoke promotion in the form of a Mobile MARLEY, to drive brand interaction in and around the Island in the lead up to the show. The mobile boom-box, carrying an assortment of MARLEY products, will be transported around the island in the lead up to the show, allowing music fans to get up close and personal with the Marley brand.

The talent line-up and further details for Isle of MTV 2014 will be announced in the coming months.
